I will go to Tokyo to see a Christmas dinner show of a singer, and am looking for a hotel in a hurry as my friend’s house where I was planning to stay won’t be available suddenly. Could you tell me a cheap hotel with a good accessibility to central Tokyo.

Convenient and cheap yet has class

Shinkansen, subway, and JR Yamanote Line all stop at Shinagawa Station, yet hotels are cheaper than other areas in Tokyo. You may think Prince Hotel is expensive, but the main building is cheaper because it is the oldest. You can search on G travel, but it may be cheaper in some cases to book directly with the hotel. There are a variety of cheap hotels, but once stay at Prince, you will be surprised with this quality service at this reasonable price.

Close to a station

It is a short walk from Shinagawa Station from where distance to go anywhere in Tokyo is about the same.
They offer some cheap plans and it is recommended if you just need a place for a little sleep and enjoy Tokyo, rather than relaxing in a hotel!
The last train is late in Shinagawa so you can enjoy a dinner show then easily take a train to come back.

An accommodation in Tokyo when I come by airplane

: When you come to Tokyo by airplanes and Shinkansen bullet trains, it is useful to find a hotel in Shinagawa.
You can go to Shinagawa from Haneda by direct train, and also Shinkansen stops.
Shinagawa Station is on Yamanote Line, and there are many shops in Ekinaka and it is also convenient to buy souvenirs.

There are a lot of hotels in the Shinagawa, but I recommend this because it is cheap and has many rooms.

Now is busy time and expensive so I consider transport, food, and night views

There would be no problem to get there either by train or car. You can enjoy night views depending on the position of the room. Another recommendation is a city hotel in the same Shinjuku Mitsui Building, but I think you should contact them now if it is still available.

There are many rooms and the price is affordable.

The reason why I recommend Keio Plaza Hotel is it is close to Shinjuku Station and easy to go to central Tokyo. Also there are many rooms in the hotel, so it is less likely to be completely full. It is also reasonable among other city hotels, but is a good long-established hotel with quality meals.

A hotel in central Tokyo and has good transport accessibility

This hotel is located in Iidabashi, and not only JR but it is easily to get to each subway line, so I think it is convenient to go anywhere in Tokyo. The price is relatively cheap, and I think it is good to stay several night to enjoy Tokyo.

Moving around in Tokyo is very convenient

Transfer from the hotel is very convenient. For example, 5-minute walk to JR Iidabashi Station and Suidobashi Station, and within 10 minutes to each subway line. The price is reasonable. There is a convenience store inside the hotel so you don’t need to go out once you come in the hotel. Recommended.

Cheaper in central Tokyo

I don’t know where dinner show is held, but Royal Park Hotel is a luxury hotel in Hakozaki. Hotel Monterey Ginza is located in Ginza as its name suggests. Both are value for the money and you will be satisfied.

It is in Shiodome Sio-Site

Located in Shiodome Sio-Site where are Nippon TV and a variety of commercial facilities. It is close to Shinbashi Station, and you can easily go to Tokyo Station where Tokaido Shinkansen and Tohoku Shinkansen depart as well as Haneda Airport with domestic flights. Since it is a high-rise hotel, views are good and night views are also beautiful.

There are natural hot springs and Sky Tree is just in front of you.

The best way to relax during a trip is to enjoy leisurely hot springs. You will feel so good, looking at Sky Tree just there from a large public bath. It is easy to go to central Tokyo by nearby Toei Ginza Line. Senso-ji Temple is close as well, so how about enjoying sightseeing in lively Asakusa at the end of the year?

A station is nearby and you can see Sky from the room.

This hotel is just opposite to the station of Asakusa and the price is affordable. More than anything, Sky Tree is visible from the room. Unlike other hotels, there are also large public baths with a view. There is also a ship dock on a river in front, and you can enjoy in many ways.
You can select Japanese or Western breakfast and enjoy a delicious fruit buffet.

A romantic night view

Night views are beautiful as it is in Odaiba. It is also fun during the daytime. The room is spacious and toiletries are nice for women. You can go to central Tokyo directly by Yurikamome. The hotel has good value for money as a premium hotel.

It is a hotel but has large public baths

It is within walking distance from Kaihin-Makuhari Station. There are large public baths (though opens until 9:00 am...). You don’t need breakfast in the hotel as there is a convenience store in the hotel (Lawson), if you want to make it cheap and just pay for a room only. But even a twin room is small so it is recommended if you don’t mind the small room. There are other hotels around, so you can also have a breakfast at one of them... There is an outlet mall at the nearest station and I believe there are pick-up services to Disneyland.

It is located in a convenient location, just 1 minute from Subway Tozai Line Kayabacho Station, and within walking distance to Nihonbashi. The facilities are new and clean, but the rate is reasonable. It is convenient as there is a convenience store next door. I stay at this hotel when I come to Tokyo.

Yotsuya is just there

It is in an excellent location, just a short taxi ride to Yotsuya Station, Shinjuku Station, Shinanomachi Station, and Sendagaya Station.
It may be more like a business hotel.
Anyway, you can go to major places in Tokyo for 2,000 - 3,000 yen by taxi.
