hotels and ryokans in japan

I would like to try cross-country skiing. Please tell me any hot spring inns where I can enjoy cross-country skiing alone as well as hot springs at night. Location doesn’t matter, but the price should be below 10,000 yen per person per night.

I’ve never done cross-country skiing before. I don’t even know where I can do, but please tell me any inns with hot springs nearby a facility where I can go with empty-handed and get cross-country skiing lessons.

It is in my local town, but ...

This inn is famous for their fairly big open-air baths in Hokkaido, and their buffet style dinner is quite filling. In addition, you can visit open-air baths at adjacent Daiichi Meisuitei and Horohoro Sanso by a shuttle bus, and enjoy hot spring spree. About cross-country skiing, you can ask Mr. Takaaki Fujita of Otaki Nordic Walking Association. I believe he can arrange necessary equipment for you.

Hot Springs are the first-class

There are instructors of cross-country skiing (though it is more like just walking with ski). Norikura looks beautiful if it is sunny around Ichinose-enchi.
When you make some progress, raise the bar and go to Hakuba Minekata, or even to Snow Harp if you get little more physical strength.

Cross-country skiing / walking ski lessons are held

5 minutes by car from the JR Oito Line / Kamishiro Station. In front of the inn is a rice paddy where cross-country skiing / walking ski lessons are held during the winter.
You can see beautiful sunrise over Mt. Shiroumadake through the windows. Also, you can enjoy bread baked in a stone oven.
