hotels and ryokans in japan

I have so much works piled up, and am planning to finish them by using holidays and staying in a hotel. I can work with my computer, and do you know any good hotels within a 2-hour drive from central Tokyo, which is quiet and has good room service for 40,000 yen or less per person per night? If possible, it would be great if there are also hot springs as well.

I have so much works piled up, and am planning to do those works on weekends for a change. Please tell me if there is any place where I can concentrate on work but also enjoy facilities such as hot springs and jacuzzi as well as room service.

At here

I think this is a hotel that can meet all your requests. It is a part of Hilton Worldwide, and offers excellent facilities and impeccable service. But I worry a bit that the distance is slightly closer than your request.

Room service offering local seafood

It may take more than 2 hours from central Tokyo as your request, if you end up in a traffic jam, but normally takes two hours when you use Tomei Odawara Atsugi Expressway.
It is in a location with good views and there is also a spa facility in the premises. The room service offers seafood menu from the Odawara fish market, which is unusual among the Hilton group hotels.
Spa facilities include large natural hot spring baths as well as stone saunas.
There are cottages as well as rooms in the main building, and I think you can work comfortably, escaping from noise of the city.

リゾートのヒルトン

It is a resort style Hilton hotel, located in the middle of mountains with abundant greenery.
The building is luxurious and the service is quite good. There are hot springs as well as a business center and library.
You can make a good progress in work, breathing in brisk fresh air.
Recommended.

Luxury hotel where you can see Tokyo Tower at night up close

It is conveniently located near Tokyo Tower, and is a very luxurious hotel. A suite room is equipped with a bathtub with jacuzzi. Room service is quite good, and of course, WI-FI is free of charge. The location and the environment are excellent. We could relax well in our quiet room. Breakfast while looking down Tokyo Tower is quite an experience.

Food, views, and hot springs nearby

A hotel in Odaiba. You can stay in a room where the Rainbow Bridge is visible on your request. I believe that rooms have a balcony, so you can refresh yourself during a break, enjoying views. I don’t think the hotel is busy except the day of fireworks in the summer or during the Christmas season, so normally it must be quiet. I think food is delicious at Nikko Hotel. There is Oedo Onsen Hot Springs nearby, so why not go and enjoy hot springs when you get tired.

Chill out

My recommendation is Kamakura Prince Hotel. It must be a real healing experience, relaxing and feeling gentle winds and smells of sea of Shonan. The hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable to stay. It has also wonderful views overlooking Enoshima and Mt. Fuji. Comfortable beds are nice. This is the hotel I would be happy to recommend.

Beautiful interior

You say you are tired from work, then how about Hakone which is not too far? This is a trustable inn. The interior is nice, and you can stay in a room with a private open-air bath if you pay extra. Ample complimentary toiletries also make the hotel fall into a luxury hotel category, I think.

A hot spring inn, very close to Kinugawa Onsen Station

A hot spring inn with a gorgeous lobby and a feeling detached from our ordinary day-to-day lives.
Soon it is going to be a snow season, and they have open-air hot spring baths that match snow.
You can work either in your room or in a lobby, depending on your mood, but it is a good idea to lock yourself in a Japanese-style room and work hard, asking for room service.
If you walk a little from the hotel in a hot spring village, there are convenience stores, outside hot spring baths, and souvenir shops, so you can refresh yourself when you get tired of working.

I recommend Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel in Shibuya.
It is not within two hours but in the middle of Tokyo, though. It is conveniently located close to a station, but is not noisy. Personally, I think you can be calm and relax there.
You request a good hotel at a price of 40,000 yen or less, so I recommend this hotel. The lowest room price is ¥ 25,800 ~ (¥ 12,900 ~ / person).
The following is information from the hotel.
"Rooms are designed on a theme of “simple and modern” and situated on 19 - 37 floors, and you can overlook the city of Tokyo from all rooms. Reservations for rooms with limited availability where you can enjoy taking a bath while watching night views is recommended to be made as soon as possible. Convenient for going to Roppongi, Harajuku, and Aoyama."

Chill out in central Tokyo

There is no hot springs but all the guests can use public baths at the hotel gym. Since your budget is rather generous so why don’t you choose a hotel plan in central Tokyo, that you can use an exclusive lounge for guests? If you reserve an Executive Room or above, you can use the lounge on the 37-floor. You can drink beer all day, or non-alcoholic drinks as well, of course. Light snacks are served during cocktail hour, as well as a variety of cocktails and sparkling wines. You can do your work using your computer is possible in the lounge at any time. Instead of making an effort to go far by car, I believe it is better to relax and work in central Tokyo. You can also swim in the gym when you get tired by working, or go out to for shopping nearby.

Superb views of sea as well as sunrise and sunset through windows

This is one of the leading hotels in south Boso in Chiba, facing the Pacific Ocean. Views from large windows facing seashore are magnificent, and there is no noise other than the one from the city but the pleasant sound of sea. About meals, you can enjoy local specialties such as Awabi abalone and Ise-ebi lobster. Employees at the reception are well trained and attentive. I don’t think these are natural hot springs, but there are large public baths to enjoy a hot spring atmosphere. However, it may be a bit further than the distance your requested within two hours from the central Tokyo.
