I’m planning to take photos of beauty of Mt.Fuji on Mt.fuji day. I’d like to chill out at accommodation with meals and open-air bath for a night. I don’t climb a mountain. Please give me some information on some nice accommodation around Mt.Fuji.

I recommend Kawaguchiko onsen Fuji Lake Hotel. This beautiful hotel with the history is located on the foot of Mt. Fuji and also the lakeside of Kawaguchiko. There are the rooms with an open-air bath. You can soak in a hot spring at an open-air bath in a big common bath in a leisurely pace. You can also enjoy eating delicious Fuji Japanese-Western kaiseki dishes.

Close to the great Mt. Fuji.

This hotel is located in Kawaguchiko and it is a perfect place to look across the Mt. Fuji. You can also look across Mt. Fuji from the modern and luxury guest rooms. This hotel is located in Kawaguchiko onesen so you can enjoy soaking in a natural hot spring. You can take a bath at chartered bath while viewing Mt. Fuji. I recommend that you stay at this hotel if you have an opportunity.

An accommodation with an open-air bath. You can view Mt Fuji from there

You can view Mt.Fuji and Kawaguchiko from all rooms at Kozantei Ubuya. You can also look across the Mt. Fuji and Kawaguhiko from a green big common bath and open-air bath. This is the accommodation with magnificent views. There are many different baths so you can enjoy and relax. The seasonal kaiseki dishes are delicious. I recommend this hotel.

Mt. Fuji

Although it’s up t to you to see Mt. Fuji from Shizuoka prefecture or Yamanashi prefecture, I recommend that you see Mt. Fuji from Yamanashi prefecture which has more lands if you want to see it from your accommodation. There are not any accommodations with the view of Mt. Fuji in Shizuoka prefecture as the view spots are often located along the coast line.

Very nice atmosphere

When I went to Hakone shrine in October 2013, I went in a hot spring at an open-air bath in Hakoneyumoto onesen Tenseien. Inside of this hotel was clean and the view of garden from the lobby was very beautiful. There is a car park and convenience store on the 1st floor. I went there with my 4 female friends but I think you can easily go there by yourself. I recommend that you take a photo of Mt.Fuji from Ashinoko. Why don’t you stay at this hotel for a night after visiting Hakone shrine, well-known power spot?

You can view Mt. Fuji though Tanukiko from your room

When I stayed at this hotel, I was surprised by the view from the window. I could see clearly Mt. Fuji though the Tanukiko. In addition, you can see clearly the image of Mt. Fuji reflected in the lake if there is no wind. You can also see this view from the bath. There were many people who were taking photos of this beautiful view on the road in front of the hotel. You can see the sunrise from Mt. Fuji in the morning. I recommend this hotel especially for those who love Mt. Fuji.
