Planning a trip to Shin-Hotaka hot spring on my own on summer holiday. Any recommendation for an inn with hot springs and a parking space in cheap price?

I am going on hiking on mountain this summer holiday and would like to stay at the inn after I finished hiking. My car will be parked at the parking space. I am looking for the cheapest place with relaxing hot spring. I want the place with two meals and a parking space for 15000 ~ 20000yen for one night and.

This hotel

I recommend Hotel Hotaka of Shinhotaka Onsen. It may be the best hotel for a single traveler. It has both Japanese and western rooms therefore a single traveler can easily get the room. It will be a good base having a good access to the station of ropeway. Its hot springs were nice and its simple meals were delicious.

A quiet hotel with reasonable price

I recommend this hotel which has quiet Japanese and western rooms. The hot water of rock made outdoor bathes is directly comes from the spring. It’s sulfur hot water which warm you very well. They serve local Hida beef and rock fishes. The hotel’s parking is free. It’s convenient to go by a car. Around the hotel, there are many famous sightseeing spots such as Shirakawa village or Hida Takayama. I suggest to visit there when you climb up the mountain. The hotel’s price is reasonable. Please consider to stay.

convenient for mountain climbing

It’s convenient as Shinhotaka ropeway station is in the walking distance from the hotel. Its parking is free. Ryokans normally have only Japanese rooms. It’s a bit tough for single travelers. But this is a hotel. It has twin western rooms which is available for single use.
