Planning a trip to Unazuki hot spring after enjoying the snow valley walk at Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.

My three relatives and I am going to Fukuoka on holiday. We are looking for places with good quality hot spring and also the place we can have meals in our own room. It’s the end of April and hopefully less than 5000yen for one night per person.

Good view

From your room, you’ll see very nice views of the river and the mountain which will heal and relax you. You’ll be very much satisfied by them. Unazuki is a well-known Onsen spot. Its outdoor bathes will also relax you. Kurobe rice cooked by famous local water is very delicious. It let me wish to have a refill of it. Other seasonal dishes are also delicious.

A hotel of Unazuki Onsen which has rooms with outdoor bathes

I recommend Enraku of Unazuki Onsen. It’s an old established hotel and its indoor and outdoor bathes are both wonderful. You can enjoy outdoor bath anytime when you select the room which has that. Meals are made by fresh seasonal foodstuff. They looks beautiful and delicious.

In a peaceful Japanese room

I assume you’ll be tired by walking and moves by trains. This hotel is a little far from Unazuki Onsen station but it’s okay as it provides free shuttle services from and to the station.
It’s a hotel in an Onsen town. Off course its bathes are very nice. You’ll be relaxed looking at Unazuki valley from the bathes. Its rooms are peaceful Japanese room which also relax you well.

A hotel close to the tram station

It’s an old established hotel of Unazuki Onsen. You’ll find it when you go towards the back of the Onsen town. It’s close to the Kurobe tram station which is useful for Kurobe valley sightseeing. The hotel has 3 outdoor bathes and two indoor ones. You can enjoy various bathes there. Its meals are banquet style made by seafood of Japan Sea.

Great hospitality

This hotel is a historical high class hotel. Its hospitality is listed as number one or two among the hotels in Unazuki Onsen. You won’t think it’s an expensive hotel if you consider its high level hospitality. The rooms are wide and relaxing with great views. You’ll be very much impressed by its meals. They are cooked by very well skilled chef with high class local foodstuff.

You can relax in a wide room

This hotel’s meals are very delicious with a variety of dishes which are made by fresh fishes of Toyama Bay and other seasonal local foodstuff. Its rooms are wide. They are in front of Kurobe River. You’ll enjoy the great view of the valley. The price was about JPY 25,000 per person.

Have a good trip

I stayed in Hotel Kurobe of Unazuki Onsen in the Kurobe valley when I enjoyed Otani walk before. It’s about 15 minutes’ walk from Unazuki Onsen to the hotel. It’s very convenient hotel. It stands in a very quiet environment. You’ll be relaxed very well. Its outdoor bathes are also very nice.

The hotel has chartered bathes.

It’s 10 minutes’ walk from the station to the hotel. If necessary, you can ask free pick up service. Price of stay is reasonable. The hotel is in a very good location. You can see very good views of Kurobe River from some of its rooms. You will remember the good days staying there.

Its views

The hotel itself was a little old but Views from its lobby and rooms were very impressive. I have enjoyed a great view also from the bath.
Their honest services made me feel at home. Meals were also nice. I wanted to stay longer.
Its outdoor bath was very nice. Unfortunately I am not sure about the chartered bathes as I didn’t go there.

You’ll see Kurobe valley

You will see Kurobe Valley Tram running on the other side of the river from your room and the outdoor bath. The hotel is in the back area of Unazuki Onsen. It’s quite quiet.
I stayed at the hotel in the past. When I was to go Alpen route from very early in the morning, the hotel’s staff was very helpful. They served breakfast earlier and helped me by their car. I would like to stay this hotel again when I visit Unazuki in the future.

A tram

This hotel stands beside Kurobe Lake at the back area of Unazuki Onsen. The views of Kurobe River and the valley are very good. Especially a tram runs on the other side of the valley, which you can see from the hotel’s outdoor bath, will make you have much feeling of trip. You can send signs to the tram by waiving a flag.

Gentle sound of a stream will heal you.

It’s a cute and quiet hotel stands at the foot of Tateyama Mountains. Its hot springs are very smooth. It’s in the back of Toyama. You can enjoy rich wild vegetable dishes in spring.
It’s not a popular tourists’ spot but I assume visitors would increase because of Hokuriku Shinkansen. It’s snowing in this season.

A Ryokan where you’ll be satisfied by views of the valley

It’s an old established Ryokan (Japanese Inn) which was stayed by well-known peoples. I enjoyed great services in any aspects. It was neat inside the building and rooms were well cleaned. Its indoor bath as well as outdoor bath were wide and views from them were very nice. Any of its meals were very delicious.

It’s in front of the Kurobe River

You’ll be satisfied by this old-established hotel. Its entrance is clean. You can see the fresh stream of Kurobe River below the windw. Fresh green leaves in the other side of the river will be beautiful in the morning sun shine in the coming season.
The hot water of the bath is brought from the spring. It’s not too hot and gentle for your skin. They serve fishes of Toyama Bay, white shrimp, or firefly squid for your meals.

A very old established hotel of Unazuki which provides good services

The hotel is the 3rd largest among the ones in Unazuki but has good reputation in its good location – it’s besides the valley, its honest hospitality, and delicious meals made by plenty of seafood of Japan Sea. It has about 80 rooms. They are cleaned well. Its staff serves very well. It’s a comfortable hotel to stay. My friend took me to the hotel 20 years ago and I stayed there twice after that. My last stay was 4 years ago. There may be some changes but it still be a good hotel so far as the same owner runs it. There are a few other better hotels but this hotel is the best among the ones within your budget I think.

It’s close from the station.

This hotel has both Japanese and western rooms. It has indoor and outdoor bathes. You can see the Kurobe Valley from them. You’ll enjoy fresh fishes of Toyama Bay for your meals. This is the best hotel to stay by two of ladies. It’s a subsidiary of Suginoya hotel of Beppu

After all

There is no such exceptional point but this hotel is overall good therefore I can recommend. They provide good services beyond its price level but it’s nothing special for them. Its meals are usual ones of large hotels but they are obviously delicious. Some hotels seems ordinary good but actually not. This hotel is not like them. Seems overall good and actually good therefore I recommend.

Outdoor bathes with great views

This hotel has several bathes. There is an outdoor bath from which you can see the great view of Kurobe valley. It’s outdoor but has a roof. You don’t need to worry about weather. Its indoor bathes are also nice. It’s wide and you can also enjoy the nice view through the glass windows. They serve casual buffet meals but, as I wanted to take enough time to have them, I ordered banquet meals served to my room. They looked so gorgeous and were very delicious.

Great view and hot springs

I recommend this hotel among the ones in Unazuki. Its hot springs are, no doubt, very fine. It doesn’t have chartered bathes but it will not be a problem. The view from its outdoor bath is great. The view from the room is also very good.

Cheap but nice hotel

I have stayed for 3 nights in “Feel Unazuki” with my family. My father loves travel. He plans sightseeing travel almost every year and he select a hotel for our family by his own. He wrote a comment about “Feel Unazuki” in his notebook. It was “It was cheap but very nice.”

One minute from the tram station

It’s one minute’s walk from the tram station. You can see trams from some of the rooms. It has a big bath the hot water of which comes directly from the spring. It also has chartered bathes which are available in first-come-first base.
Unfortunately, dinner is not available in the hotel. But there is a plan to have dinner at a restaurant which is one minute from hotel by walk, so it’ll not be a problem in this season.

Cheap and convenient

This hotel is most close to the station. You can visit a public bath when you walk over the railway crossing nearby the hotel. The hotel is a little old but it has a viewing bath. For your dinner, I suggest to go to a tavern or a restaurant around the hotel where you can have nice hot dishes. The hotel’s breakfast is delicious. Other than this hotel, there are a hotel owned by the local railway company and a high class hotel in Unazuki.

You can see trams up close

It stands in a good location. You can walk to the hotel from Unazuki Onsen station. I recommend this hotel as you can see trams up close from it. Its rooms are cute and quiet. Breakfast is buffet style which serves western and Japanese foods. I recommend this hotel as rooms and meals are very nice in this price level.

Chartered outdoor bathes are the specialty of the hotel

Unazuki Onsen is in the best location for sightseeing of Kurobe Valley and Kurobe Alpen. This hotel stands beside the fresh stream of Kurobe River. It’s a peaceful hotel surrounded by the rich nature. Rich amount of its hot springs are gentle to the skin. You can view the Valley of Kurobe River from the bath. Its dinner is cooked by ample of fresh seafood of Toyama Bay. It’s gorgeous.

A scenic hotel stands in front of Kurobe River.

The hotel’s bathes were very relaxing. Its hot water was clear, the nature of spring was very comfortable, and bath tab was wide.
The hotel looks a little old but rooms were wide and had nice views. Especially I was impressed by its very nice hospitality. I was also satisfied by its dinner and breakfast both in quality and quantity. Their rice was Toyama’s Koshihikari. It was delicious.

Surface of the river is Seriously Kana open-air bath

This hotel is right beside the Kurobe River. You will enjoy beautiful views from your room. The hotel’s chartered outdoor bathes are great. Comfortable sound of the river will heal your body very well. Meals made by Toyama’s local foodstuff are also very delicious.
