This hotel

I recommend Kashima Central Hotel. Antlers are familiar with this hotel. Coming by bus is convenient if it’s from Tokyo. The hotel has a big bath which relax you after you watch the game. Its room rate is not so expensive. It’s easy to stay.

Kashima Shrine and Antlers’ Club House

Kahima Central Hotel is easy to access from Tokyo by bus. You will be healed by the deep green of Kashima Shrine. You can see the training of Antlers’ members who will not participate in the day’s game. Please check their time table at HP of Antlers.

Kashima Shrine

You cannot miss to visit Kashima Shrine. Peoples in Ibaragi prefecture must visit there when they come to Kashima. It’s good to pray for victory or pray for gratitude.
The hotel’s rooms are wide and it has a big hot spring bath. It’s a good place to relax your body which is tired by cheering the team.

A largest class hotel

Zico used to stay this hotel when he was a player and a director. You can come straight from Itako IC. This hotel is sometimes used by the opponent football team. You may be able to see their players. This hotel has nice hot spring bathes. You’ll be satisfied.

Romankan is close to Fukuroda Fall. Goura is in the seaside

It’s a bit far from Kashima but I recommend Romankan if you wish to see Fukuroda Fall. Goura is close to Unomisaki. You can enjoy great views. There are reconstructed Rokkakudo or museum of Taikan Yokoyama. Please visit your favorite one.

There is a massage chair in the room

This hotel is convenient to come from Tokyo. It’s within a walking distance from a limousine bus stop. It’s a cheap business hotel. There are enough shops necessary for your living - restaurants, such as sushi shop or family restaurant, and convenience stores. It’s convenient that the hotel offer a free buffet breakfast. There is a massage chair in the room. I think this hotel is cost effective among hotels in this price level.

Kashima Shrine and a roadside rest area Itako

There are only a few hotels around Kashima Stadium. They became full when there is a night game. You better book earlier. “Aton Palace Hotel” is a larger hotel around the stadium which has a wedding hall. Next to that hotel, there is Kashima Central Hotel. This hotel is convenient as it’s the stop of highway bus from Tokyo and has day use hot springs facilities. There are not so many sightseeing spots but Kashima Shrine is a MUST. “Emil”, which is popular in the Stadium, has a shop on the street towards the shrine. The roadside rest area Itako has souvenir shops and shops to sell light meals such as soft cream.
But please enjoy eating at Kashima Stadium which has most rich stadium gourmet shops in Japan. Its boiled Motsu and grilled ham are famous. Its sweets are also nice. In summer, I recommend you to have “Marugoto Melon” (melon as a whole). It’s Melon juice and ice cream filled in a hollowed out melon. There are many other delicious foods. You better go there upon checking at HP of J League.

A hotel close both from Kashima Football Stadium and the station

This hotel was very close both from Kashima Football Stadium and the station. It was very convenient for watching a football game. It’s also close to the stop of highway bus. It’s especially convenient for railroad users. I was satisfied by its clean room and kind staff.
