I plan to go shopping in Ginza, Tokyo. The plan is for a night. The budget can be a little pricy, but I want somewhere really nice hotels.

I plan to go to Tokyo for a day with my friend to go wander around in Ginza. The plan is to go around mid-August, but I want to know a really nice hotel near Ginza, which can be expensive. I plan to eat out.

recommendation

My recommendation is Hotel Monterey Ginza. The Appearance gives you the feeling of the historic atmosphere and it is a wonderful hotel. It could be a good choice to stay as the last night for strolling around Ginza. It is a little away from the most busy streets in Ginza, so the environment is relatively quiet.

the classical hotel where you can feel the history of Ginza

It is a classical hotel with a relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy cleanliness and elegance. The appearance as well as the interior has the classical atmosphere using the natural materials. It is situated on one of the back streets of the Ginza through-fare and there is little noise.

experience the cultural difference

Please check the HP of the Monterey Group. They are all European-style buildings and the rooms are extremely pretty. In the Ginza area, there are 2-3 of that type. One of them has the Japanese concept, but 2 of them have a European one. You can choose depending on your favorite.

It is convenient for shopping in Marunouchi

The Seiyo Ginza has been closed down, so I recommend Peninsula for a stay in order to do some shopping in Ginza. It is located in the convenient place for shopping not only in Ginza but also in Marunouchi. It’s close to the Tokyo station and you can use many underground stations. The transport is superb there.

convenient to get to Ginza

If you don’t mind about the cost, it has to be “Peninsula”. If you have a lot of shopping, you can easily go back to your room with it. And it’s convenient to go to the Marunouchi area, the Yurakucho station and the underground stations. There are a few hotels in Ginza, but most rooms are small. If you have enough money to spare, I highly recommend this hotel.

the stylish hotel

Speaking of Ginza, it has to be this hotel. It is a business hotel for the reasonable price, but the interior is modern and fashionable. It is in a walking distance from the underground Ginza station. The elevator has a card-key system, so you can’t go to any other floor but to your room floor. You will feel secure and won’t go to a wrong floor. They have a lounge for the hotel guests only and you can have a cup of coffee for free there. The convenience-stores are nearby. You can check-out on the machine. It’s the guests convenience hotel.

convenient transport

The price is slightly more expensive than other hotel in the Ginza area, but it is situated in central Ginza, so it’s convenient for visiting places. The grade of a room is high and the breakfast is a high quality one for the charge. It is a very satisfactory hotel.

How about the Imperial Hotel?

It is in a walking distance from Ginza. The green scenery of the Hibiya Park on the other side of the street is comfortable and the urban scenery of Ginza from the Ginza side is also wonderful. The solid looking lobby is very unusual. Eating out is in a walking distance, in Ginza near Yurakucho or all the Ginza area. (walk towards Shinbashi)

I feel their hospitality.

Its history and reputation are perfect, but the biggest point of my recommendation is that this hotel accepted the victims from the East Japan Great Earthquake. We can see the true attitude of a hotel in such extraordinary circumstances. The facilities are also important factors to hotel guests, but the more important aspect is what their hospitality conveys.

My strong recommendation is the breakfast at the restaurant “Tenku”

It is a 1-2-minute-walk from the Yaesu North Exit at the Tokyo station or the Nihonbashi Exit at the Tokyo station on the Bullet-train side. Strolling around in Ginza is possible. You can choose a room from where you can see the night-view or the railway of Bullet-trains. (the charge differs) As the name shows, the restaurant where you feel as if you are up in the sky is fantastic. The meal is perfect.

the appearance

It is a little humble looking business hotel, but when it was renovated, they introduced quality beds in all rooms. So, when you once enter the room, you can forget worrying about the appearance. It is a 10-minute-walk from the middle of the Ginza 4-chome. It depends on the traffic lights though.

the access to Ginza and the scenery is superb

The Conrad Tokyo is next to the Hamarikyu Park. You need to walk a little bit from Shinbashi, but the access to Ginza is excellent. You can see clear across the Tokyo Bay from your room. The scenery is outstanding. The room is spacious and the night-view of Tokyo is fantastic. The breakfast is delicious.
