An accommodation in Tokyo to stay with my non-Japanese friend.

I am looking for an accommodation, which is convenient for sightseeing in Tokyo and also familiar with foreign tourists. I want something under 10000 yen including breakfast and the location is the most important.

You can see the Sky Tree from your room.

It is in a walking distance from the Ryogoku station. It is connected to the station on the Oedo-line, so it is convenient even on a rainy day. The room is modern and spacious. The charge is under \10,000, which is reasonable. The local-bus is operating to the Disney Land, so it’s convenient as a base. The Kokugikan is close to watch the Sumo Wrestling. You can see the Sky Tree from your room as well as the restaurant. It is located in the place which is close to the main sightseeing spots.

My recommendation is the Shinagawa Prince Hotel. The location is perfect. It is superb as a base for the Tokyo sightseeing. It has a lot of foreign guests, so the staff are accustomed to deal with them. It is the hotel which you can choose, feeling comfortable.

This could be for you.

The charge is reasonable. You can use English at the front desk. Foreign visitors have been rapidly increasing, so they reinforced the staff who are available to respond to foreign visitors at the quickest speed in Tokyo. They have prepared the leaflets and the guide books in foreign languages. There are the ramen-shop maps and various other things to help visitors.

the inn along the river Sumida close to the station / the breakfast as well as the bath is nice.

It is located along the River Sumida which is close to the Tokyo Metro and the station on the Tobu-line. I should say, it is close to the main sightseeing spots in Asakusa. That’s really attractive. The plan is with a breakfast and a big bathroom. The responses in English are available, so foreign visitors can feel secure and can stay, feeling relaxed. As it is near the station, you can easily visit places. Inside the hotel, everywhere is compact, but the charge is under \5,000 per person, so you should keep it in mind.

Even though it is in Tokyo it is surrounded by nature and it is very elegant.

When my foreign friends come, I always recommend this hotel. http://www.hotelniwa.jp/index.html Although it is located in Tokyo, it is not noisy but a very comfortable place. There are cultural spots and a lot of nature in the surroundings. You can enjoy the quiet aspect of Tokyo to the full.

The facilities and the meals are okay.

It is located near the Imperial Hotel in Yurakucho. The room is not very large, but the bed, the shower-booth and the massage chair are all OK for foreign visitors to use. The breakfast is served at the café of the Mujirushi-ryohin on the 2nd floor. The Japanese and the western-styled menu is sufficient. There is a quiche or sandwiches as your choice. You can have a serve yourself cup of tea and coffee as much as you want. When I stayed there, at the breakfast, both quests next to me were foreigners. The staff are all kind. The charge is over \10,000.

  • This hotel is located in front of the south exit of Tokyu Tamagawa and Ikegami lines Kamata station which is situated at the second floor of Tokyu Plaza Kamata department store. The station has 2 wickets. It is better to go through Yokohama side exit, oppsite side Tokyo, and go straight ahead to the right side from the south exit

the natural hot-spring

There is an inn called “Hotel Suehiro” in front of the Kamata station. It has a natural hot-spring with the black water which makes the skin smooth. As you are with foreigners, a hot-spring gives them the Japanese charm. The price is reasonable and the location is convenient. That’s why I recommend this one.
