Recommended cheap hotels around Ikebukuro Station for a solo female traveler

I'm looking for a hotel around Ikebukuro station where I can stay for as cheap as possible. Please give me hotels which are safe for solo female travelers. A single room within 5000 yen would be great.

It may be difficult to find a safe hotel within that price around Ikebukuro station. You should raise your budget. Super Hotel Inn Ikebukuro Eki Kitaguchi is clean and has a public bath.

Maybe here

I recommend Super Hotel Inn Ikebukuro Eki Kitaguchi which is away from the shopping district of Ikebukuro. All deals include a healthy breakfast.

It's a bit over budget but

Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo is long famous for its great hospitality. It's a little overpriced but you can definitely have a safe and comfortable stay.

A safe hotel

It's a clean hotel just a walk away from the station. If you consider the surroundings including the fire department and police station, service and meals, it's a reasonable price.

Convenient and cheap

I don't recommend choosing cheap hotels as Ikebukuro is a shopping district and it's not exactly safe. This hotel though is 3, 4 minutes from the north exit and the staff are friendly so you can probably have a safe stay.

A hotel with many female travelers

I'm afraid it's hard to find a hotel where you can stay within 5000 yen in Tokyo unless if it's a capsule hotel. I recommend this hotel which has a women-only floor and an accommodation deal with amenities for women.

Women-only floor

It's difficult to find an accommodation within 5000 yen near the station so try a capsule hotel. This is probably the only capsule hotel in Ikebukuro which has a women-only floor.
