hotels and ryokans in japan

I’m going to Osaka with my wife and out 4-year-old child for the first time. We are going to the USJ, but I want to know another interesting place and a recommended hotel. Our budget is \15,000 per person.

I hardly go to the Kansai area, but I’m going to Osaka for the first time to take my child to the USJ. Please tell me of a sightseeing spot where we can enjoy ourselves with our small child and a recommended hotel.

the high-rise hotel next to the station

This is the hotel next to the Benten station on the JR Osaka-kanjo-line. As the hotel name shows, it is a high-rise hotel like a tower with the beautiful night-view. You can have your breakfast on the top floor, so your child may be very pleased. Of course, it is close to the USJ.

The view is superb.

The view from 200m above the sea level impresses me. The view from the room is also wonderful. The meal is delicious. It is worth staying. The USJ and the Kyosera Dome are nearby. It suits sightseeing. The room is spacious and comfortable to stay.

The scenery is superb.

The aquarium, “Kaiyukan” is very good for children. You can feel Osaka when you get on board the pleasure boat, “Okawa pleasure boat”. (get on board at the Tenman Bridge). I don’t think the Yoshimoto Theater is good for children, but it is worth looking at it. The latest sightseeing spots are the Abeno Harukas and Umeda. The Takoyaki (octopus dumpling), Yakiniku(grilled meat) or Kushikatsu(grilled skewered foods) are good for a meal. You may have a liking and a disliking, but Tsuruhashi is famous area in Osaka for Yakiniku.

the night-view is beautiful / the sufficient facilities

Basically it is a hotel for business use, but they put the stress on the family use as well. The night-view from the higher floor is marvellous. The room is spacious and clean. The hotel is connected by the subway to the station, so you don’t get wet even in a rainy day. The Kaiyukan is the best as a sightseeing spot. You can enjoy yourself all day long. The Umeda Joypolice is good.
