Recommended Hotels for Jidai Festival in Kyoto

I retired from work and I'm enjoying traveling on weekdays so want to visit Jidai festival, a traditional Japanese festival held annually every October in Kyoto. It's one of Kyoto's three great festivals, with the other two being the Aoi Festival and the Gion Festival. I'd like to go and stay in Kyoto the day before the festival. Please give me the best hotels to stay.

If you want to enjoy Jidai Festival

I recommend this hotel because the procession passes by the hotel. It's also close to the paid seats of the festival around the city hallso you may want to sit there.

The procession will pass by the hotel.

The procession of the people wearing Japanese ancient costumes will pass by the hotel. I suggest you reserve a room facing the city hall so that you can watch the procession from the room.
