Recommended hotels near Mount Odaigahara, Mie

I heard that there's a beautiful river in Mie which is streaming from Mount Odaigahara. Its water is so clear that you can see through the bottom and the boat seems to be flying when seen from a distance. I would like to visit this river with my family. Please give me convenient hotels or inns nearby for a night's stay.

Convenient for sightseeing

This hotel is 3 minutes walk from Koriyama Station. It's also convenient for sightseeing in Odaigahara. They have a natural hot spring and spa where you can relax.

Convenient

I recommend Super Hotel Nara Yamato Koriyama. It's a convenient hotel close to Koriyama Station. You can enjoy sightseeing in Odaigahara and then relax in the natural hot spring inside the hotel after.

A business hotel with a hot spring.

It's located along the roadside from Nara station. It's conveniently close to Koriyama Station on the Kintetsu Line too. The facilities are sufficient and the accommodation prices are cheap.

About one hour by car.

I recommend Dorogawa Onsen Yado Hanaya Tokubei. This is a Japanese-style inn with a hot spring. You can have Saigyou Nabe, a hotpot with chicken and vegetables with a kudzu or Japanese arrowroot.

Move to Yoshino first

After hiking in Odaigahara it would be better to move to the Yoshino area first. There are many hot spring hotels there. I recommend Dorogawa Onsen Yado Hanaya Tokubei among them all. They have a public bath and a room with an open-air bath.

Do you mean Choushi River?

If so, I'd like to recommend Owase Seaside View. It's an inn by the seaside where you can enjoy fresh seafood. It's 30 minutes by car to Choushi River.

Good location and delicious foods

This inn is located in Owaseshi in Mie. I stayed here twice on a trip and for sightseeing. It's less than 7000 yen for a Japanese-style room including two meals.
