At the beginning of next year, my Australian friend is coming to Japan to ski.
I have been asked about the recommended ski-slope, so please give me your suggestion. It would be lovely if they had rental wear and a shower in the room.

the charming hotel

he popular buffet-styled meal has an all-you-can-eat crab. It is a resort hotel with an amusement park. They have a fountain show. It’s a kind of a total resort hotel. They offer various seasonal events.

They will pick you up at the airport.

If you come from overseas, I recommend this hotel, because you can book for picking you up at the airport. If the room is not a Japanese-styled one, they have the showe-rooms. They offer rental ski boards. The hotel site itself is the ski-slope, so you can enjoy skiing to the full.

the silver world

If you want to ski with your Australian friend, I recommend the Rutsusu which has a variety of courses with spacious ski-slopes as well as the wonderful view. There is a big bathroom and the room has a shower-room and a bath-tub. The room is spacious and clean. The shops and the restaurant are inside the hotel. They have a good deal package, which is combination of hotel stay and transport.

recommend it overall

You can enjoy different courses. The view of Mt. Yotei is splendid. The “nighter” is recommended. You can enjoy not only skiing but also meals and attractions at the hotel. The staff’s responses are pleasant. They have a hot-spring. The view is wonderful.

early booking limited plan is cheap

This hotel has a plan called “Marco Polo Hokkaido”. Booking 40 days prior with 2 meals’ charge is \8,100. The room has a shower-room with a bath-tub. They have a rental wear shop. The Rusutsu ski-slope is just in front of the hotel.

As the ski-slope is close, it’s popular amongst skiers.

I stayed at this hotel, as the ski-slope is at the front. The view and the access were excellent, really. The meal was also delicious and I enjoyed the local taste to the full. The scenery through the window was wonderful too.

There is a return journey bus from the main stations in the Kansai area to the hotel.

The hotel with a hot-spring is located in the scenic area. They have a plan with the Adventure World 1-day ticket. It includes the big deal, the taxi pack to the Adventure World. You can enjoy yourself with your grand-child without getting lost.

Niseko’s quality snow is outstanding.

The hotel is “Former JAL Annupri Hotel” near the Niseko Annupri ski-slope. Each ski-slope has a rental shop for ski-goods. You can also ask the hotel to introduce them. The snow quality of the Niseko is the ideal representative of the powdery snow.

This is it.

The hotel is in front of the ski-slope. The scenery is marvellous. They take and pick us up from the hot-spring. Nowadays, not only Chinese but also Canadians and Australians come to Japan through the working holiday. So, English and French languages are available in this environment.

the access from Sapporo is good

How about Jozankei which has a good access to Sapporo as well as to the Sapporo International ski-slope. As they have a shuttle-bus, it’s convenient. The hot-spring is spacious with a big bath-tub which is good for your foreign friend to enjoy.

It is close to the center of Sapporo. / convenient to the ski-slope

Considering the charge, I recommend this hot-spring hotel close to the ski-slope. This hotel is the biggest one in Jozankei and you can take a bath, taking your time. The charge is \12,000 per night. (\10,000 is available.) The hotel is located near the mountain stream. It is a 20-minute-ride in a car from the Jozankei hot-spring to the ski-slope. The ski-slope is the famous Sapporo International ski-slope. The ski-slope is spacious and the gondola facility is excellent. The quality of snow is Hokkaido’s characteristic powdery one. Anyone from beginners up to the advanced can enjoy skiing.

the hot-spring hotel with a free shuttle-bus to the powdery snow ski-slope

The quality of snow of the Sapporo International ski-slope is powdery. There is a rental wear shop. The area has various courses and it is a well-known ski-slope amongst Sapporo people. The hotel, Joazakei View Hotel has a free shuttle-bus to and from the ski-slope. It is a large scale hotel and the bathroom is huge. Each room has a shower-room and a toilet. The buffet-styled meal is delicious. You can stay there for a cheap price. There is a free shuttle-bus from Sapporo to the hotel.

the hotel which can respond to foreigners

The snow quality is excellent. It is a hotel which is one of the Hilton Hotel chains in the Niseko area which is convenient to get to from the Shin-chitose Airport. The staff looked as if they are used to respond to foreigners, just like the hotel in the Hilton Hotel chains is expected to offer. Apart from that, their meticulous hospitality is excellent to make us stay pleasantly.

the hot-spring is excellent / the wuality snow / the recommendation is perfect

Niseko covers the following factors. The hot-spring is superb, the snow quality is excellent, the scenery is outstanding and a certain recommendation. There is a skiing school for foreigners. There is a school for kids. The gondola starts from this hotel, so the access to the ski-slope is perfect. Look for a cheap plan and you’ll get a great deal.

skiing and the hot-spring is excellent

If you go to Hokkaido skiing, the Niseko area is recommended. In the Niseko area, there are 4 ski-slopes spreading out on the summit of Mt. Niseko Annupuri such as the Niseko Annupri International ski-slope, the Niseko Vilage ski-slope, the Niseko Grand Hirafu Hirafu area and the Niseko Hirafu Hanazono Resort. You can ski round all of them from any ski-slope. As the summit area is over the limitation growth for forest, you can enjoy the completely silver world without any tree. On the top of that, the hot-spring is splendid. If you go there with your foreign friend, I recommend the “Hilton Niseko Village”, although the charge is expensive. You can receive the top class service of the worldwide Hilton Group and you wil be satisfied beyond the price.

fluffy powdery snow

Quite a few foreigners come to Hokkaido to ski, longing for the quality snow. The ski-slope with the best powdery snow in Hokkaido and the scale of the ski-slope that is larger than others is Sahoro. Most people go to other famous ski-slopes, so visit there before it becomes popular.

the large open-air hot-spring

The hotel is in the area of the Niseko Annupri ski-slope. You need to use a shuttle-bus to get to the ski-slope, but the open-air hot-spring in the garden and the Japanese-styled meal will please your Australian friend. There is a resort-liner to get to this hotel from the Shin-chitose Airport.

I was satisfied with skiing, the pool and the sweets.

The ski-slope is not far from the hotel. After skiing, you can enjoy yourself in the pool. There are some sweets at the front desk for free. It is suitable for friend group and a family. When I stayed there, there was a “Kamakura” (snow hut) in the garden and it was very enjoyable for my family who are not familiar with snow.

How about a hot-spring, changing your idea?

If you can give up on the rental wear at the Sapporo International ski-slope, I recommend the Jozankei hot-spring. It is a 30-minute-drive in a car to the ski-slope. Nowadays, even foreigners prefer a Japanese-styled room, so they can experience it as well as a hot-spring. After skiing you can relax in the pool. If your friend is a female, she can have a beauty treatment. You can choose your favourite food. If you love a Japanese-styled meal, it’s available to be served in the room. If you want just a few of them, you can pick them up in the buffet-styled meal.

The Sapporo International ski-slope is a 30-minute-ride in a car from the hotel. the ski-slope is close / the room with an open-air hot-spring / the delicious buffet-styled meal

I strongly recommend Niseko, if you ski. It is well-known even in Australia. The hotel, Hirafu-tei is close to the ski-slope. The facilities are not new, but clean. It is not a traditional Japanese-styled, but they have many rooms with open-air hot-springs. It sounds expensive, but you can stay there for a reasonable charge. The buffet-styled evening meal is excellent. It has a variety of foods, such as Tempura and grilled ones with the local ingredients. You can enjoy Hokkaido to the full. Your foreign friend will be satisfied with the hot-spring, comforting his/her fatigue in it.
